“Issues” means one thing here: no girls’ toilet, or one that does not work. That is all UDISE+ 2024-25 records. A school shown with none may still have plenty.
A leaking roof. A tap that has not run for a year. A classroom with no floor, no fan, no light. A gate anyone can walk through. Report any of it, at any school, in any state — whether that school is in the government’s record or not. One photo from where you are standing is the whole thing. Beside what people send, we publish what the government recorded itself in UDISE+ 2024-25, so the two can be read against each other.
What people have sent from the spot. Every one is anonymous, published the moment it is sent, and permanent.
Nothing here is our finding — it is what someone standing at the school sent us, published as they sent it. Faces are blurred on the phone before anything leaves it.
For reporting. If something at a school is broken or missing, you send one photo from where you are standing and it is published against that school. The government figures on this site are the backdrop — they show what was already admitted on paper. What you send is what is true today.
Anything you can see at a school: the toilets, the water, the wiring, a roof, a wall, a ramp, a room with no furniture. Tick as many as apply and say what you found for each one.
Yes — and most schools are not on it. This site already lists the 78,744 schools the government itself flagged, about 1 in 18. Any other school can be reported by name and town, and is published as reported by a citizen.
We never record who you are — no account, no name, no email. We do record where the photo was taken, because that is what lets a report be checked. Your IP is hashed with a secret and kept only to stop one person flooding the queue.
Faces are blurred on your phone before anything is sent, and a photo that had faces in it and was not blurred is refused by the server. Photograph the building, never the students.
That the phone placed the photograph within 200 metres of the school’s recorded location, using the camera in this site rather than a picture from the gallery. It is a check on where a photograph was taken — not on whether the report is right. Nobody vets these before they appear; what you see is what someone sent.
From UDISE+ 2024-25, the government’s own release, as each school reported it. We publish them as the school’s record, not as our finding, and nothing there is our estimate. They cover one thing — girls’ toilets — which is why the reporting above is not limited to it. They are also gentle: a toilet that exists but does not work still counts as a toilet there, which is how 44,621 of these schools have a toilet that does not work, counted as fine.
