1 in 27 schools here has an issue in the government’s record
about the Mayiladuthurai average (1 in 23)
Every school here is on this list for one reason: its own UDISE+ 2024-25 return shows no working girls’ toilet. The rest of its record is listed beside it.
| School | What its record shows | Teachers | Children |
|---|---|---|---|
| GHS VANATHIRAJAPURAM Classes 6–10 | no girls’ toilet, no accessible toilet, nowhere to wash hands, a classroom needing major repair | 6 | 107 |
| GHSS KILIYANUR Classes 6–12 | no girls’ toilet, no accessible toilet, nowhere to wash hands | 12 | 260 |
| PUMS MEKKIRIMANGALAM Classes 1–8 | no girls’ toilet | 7 | 105 |
| PUPS EDAKKIYAM Classes 1–5 · Palaiyur | no girls’ toilet, no playground, no female teacher | 2 | 45 |
| PUPS SENNIYANALLUR Classes 1–5 | no girls’ toilet, no accessible toilet | 2 | 45 |
The government’s own UDISE+ 2024-25 record lists more than a missing toilet at these 5 schools. Every school counted below is one of those 5, not the rest of Kuthalam.
